INTERVIEWS

November 25: Jonathan E. Turner, CFE, CII, was interviewed by the Security Management Bulletin for "When You Suspect Internal Fraud", dealing with corporate fraud cases; assembling a team to manage the investigation and protect the company's interests and implementing other proactive solutions for corporate fraud issues.

October 29: R.A. (Andy) Wilson, CFE, CPP, and Pamela J. Segers were written up in Security Director's Digest as part of "ASIS Seminar: More Workshop Highlights", dealing with the recent round table discussion on designing and implementing employee screening programs presented at the 43rd ASIS Seminar and Exhibits.

September 5: Jonathan E. Turner, CFE, CII, was interviewed by the Cookeville Herald-Citizen for an article dealing with trademark enforcement investigations in conjunction with the arrest and indictment of two women charged with three felony counts under Tennessee's Criminal Simulation law and an additional misdemeanor count of Selling Counterfeit Goods.

August /September: R.A. (Andy) Wilson, CFE, CPP, was interviewed by Risk & Insurance and Human Resources Executive magazines for a joint article, "To Catch a Thief", dealing with employee theft issues, including prevention, screening, and detection, as well as the consequences for mishandling the investigation and termination of employee thieves.

June 1: R.A. (Andy) Wilson, CFE, CPP, and Jonathan E. Turner, CFE, CII, were interviewed by Risk & Insurance magazine for "Conventional Wisdom: Downsizing Fraud" dealing with employee dishonesty during organizational transition and risk management's role in identifying these schemes.

March 10: R.A. (Andy) Wilson, CFE, CPP, was interviewed by the Memphis Business Journal for "Consultant Warns of Offers That Sound Too Good" dealing with advance fee schemes against businesses and individuals, including Nigerian solicitations, "pre-approved" loan scams, and tips for protection. 

February 26: R.A. (Andy) Wilson, CFE, CPP, was a guest fraud investigation expert on ABC News Radio, dealing with consumer and business fraud issues, employee dishonesty situations, responsible investigations and included caller participation.

February 22: R.A. (Andy) Wilson, CFE, CPP and Jonathan E. Turner, CFE, CII, were interviewed by The Commercial Appeal (Memphis) for "Police Uncover Counterfeit Goods in Raids on Three Memphis Stores" dealing with the continuing series of raids on counterfeit product sellers. The raids covered in this article netted over 1,000 items seized and four felony arrests under Tennessee's Criminal Simulation Law.

February 10: Jonathan E. Turner, CFE, CII, was interviewed by the Memphis Business Journal for "Proper Business Security Requires Advance Planning" dealing with the changing security risks and concerns for business owners over the course of growth and change phases in the business life.
